I can feel my serenity closely sneaking up on me; let December get here quick.

I haven’t read anything, nor have I done anything “educational” wise in the past few weeks, but I definitely still have it on mind at all times. I’ll probably hit up my brother’s house tomorrow to do some studying, I’m also going to start sleeping over there on mondays and tuesdays. I so do not want to be at home on those days, I just got my sleeping schedule fixed, and I’ll be damned if dumba$$ boy is going to mess it up!

Boy howdy does he have a rude awakening for tonight, I’m giving my computer to my assistant manager and I’m taking it to his place tonight. Then after I leave there; I’m headed to my brother’s, well maybe, it may too late by that time.

I’ve ordered the lcd screen and the digitizer screen for my itouch; I had to order the latter because well, I broke the other one trying to open it. Those videos make it look so much easier than what it really is but at least the battery isn’t leaking into it! The lcd screen is coming from California, but I must wait even longer for the digitizer and glass, because that is coming from Hong Kong.

I also order the headphone/video jack for the iPod classic; the very one Ricky claimed he ran over, but actually sold! Now that Ricky’s new Droid is in, I can use that for back up for music!

My

Other than that, nothing exciting is going on, but I wish there was.

I’ve told R five times now, that I do not want to stay up all night, because I want to go to my brother’s house to study and read. However, last night he continued to do what he normally does – completely ignore what I want and bitch about me wanting to sleep. I am not giving up on this single goal for his wants, and if he can not compromise this one thing, then there is only one option left.

I have to leave for work in an hour, but I’d much rather get in my car and drive back to my brother’s house. My math skills aren’t up to par anymore and I need that time to study. Since, R goes to work tonight; I will be getting up at seven AM and leaving for my brother’s house at that time, way before R gets home.

As I expected from the beginning; Jilan and Avery got it on towards the end and that from what I could tell from the game was proved in the book – those winged aliens are losers! Now, I begin my journey in reading the dictionary and attempting to remember to read what it is (an adverb, noun or what).

Since tomorrow is Monday, I shall be going to my brother’s house to read the dictionary and take a gander or two at the SAT study guide. With the study guide in mind, I think, I am not entirely sure on this moment, but I might pay for the online course – which is 60 dollars with a ten dollar discount since I have the book. It could only serve to be more beneficial, right?

I just finished the practice test on collegeboard.com, the end result was confidence shattering. On the essay part, I received a five with six being the highest. I can’t complain there, but it showed my lack of remembering math from junior high and high school.

Also, the reading wasn’t up to par – I guess all the internet reading wasn’t helping much, huh? Or it could be that I got tired of reading the passages and just marked answers; which I won’t do on the actual thing. At least now, I know where I need to study most and with the combined score I received on that is only 100 points under the 1500 point requirement at most universities.

Needless to say, I do believe that two years at Odessa College is a requirement in my plan and will most likely be the most beneficial.

That will mark the first book I’ve read start to finish in about a week in a really long time. After that I will be attempting to read the dictionary and if I can’t do it; I figure I can finish reading 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea that I start reading last year!

In other news; I was going to add some more songs to one of my assistant managers ipod but I found out that it’s already full. He is going to be bummed when I tell him that, but hell, it is only an one gig ipod shuffle.

Since I’m already on the subject of iPod, my iTouch is wigging out and I’m anticipating buying a LCD screen in the near future.

Since, I already know my strongest subjects are reading and writing. I want to make sure I can reach as close to 800 on each as possible because without going to school first; I’m not quite sure I can get an 800 on the math section, but then again, I can always re-take the SAT’s a couple of times until I obtain an extremely high score on all three sections.

Mom says that her algebra book from college is in the storage unit. So I’m going to use that to re-learn some of the stuff I no longer remember.

I now have a refined and SILENT place to learn now; my brother is going to let me use his house while he is at work. Yay no more listening to R. ask me stupid questions about whatever pops into his head and I’m pretty sure those questions are just there, to further, pick my mind of what I know and to try to develop his own mind. However, it is annoying as hell, and I believe that if to-say-his-parents-gave-a-damn when they were younger that this issue would not occur then he would know how to seek out the information he wants to know about without drilling me to death or having me do it.

I just bought a copy from Dollar Tree today and while I said I was going to read something else after I’m done with Contact Harvest; I’m going to read the dictionary.

I kid you not, I’m going to read all 319 pages because one word just on the sample section of the SAT study guide threw me off – magnanimous * and another word were the ones I thought the answer could be but I chose the other – I should have used common since and went with the word that had a lot more letters!

However, I’ve never studied for the SAT and I do remember quite fondly that the high school I went to wasn’t too concerned on spelling huge words like magnanimous, malapropism or any other word containing more than six letters unless it was a word that ended in ” ing ” – let alone teaching us what those words meant.

OH wait!, one might say “Ellen, you didn’t graduate high school and got a G.E.D instead.” but do you realize out of those high school graduates wouldn’t be able to pass the G.E.D. on their own.

The reason I dropped out of high school was because where I live; we apparently have a lot of idiots breeding and most of the kids in high school couldn’t handle 4+4 , let alone 4(x)+4=12. Yet, the teachers broke the problems down so much that it became all so annoying to me and I just didn’t care no more. And despite my constant griping to get me out of the classes that were like that, it went on deaf ears and I ended up dropping out.

So, by the time I made it to AIM; I just wasn’t concerned with “teaching” myself because of all the constant yammering between the mommas and the other drop outs. No offense to my girls that went to AIM, you all did amazing and made it through.

I know all too well that I’m not fantastic with proper punctuation but at least I try unlike a lot of people now a days .

Holy cow, is this thing huge! 997 pages of tests, examples and more stuff – wow, I really wasn’t expecting something so huge. Better prep book than my G.E.D study guide – that thing was a tadpole in comparison and I ended up only using that twice before I took my G.E.D. However, I intend to use the SAT guide book more than twice but I don’t want to overdo it.

So, needless to say, I’m going to have to figure out a rotation between reading a book, working out and using my study guide. Oh, how it’d be nice to be rich and not have to worry with money or a job. *sigh*

Goodnight Cruel World.
